FNB Learnership Requirements (2025 Intake)
To qualify for the FNB Learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Possess at least a Matric certificate (NQF Level 4); post-matric qualifications like certificates or diplomas (NQF 5 or 6) are accepted
- Have been unemployed for 6 months or longer
- Not currently studying full-time
- Have no or minimal work experience (less than 12 months, including part-time or casual work)
- This must be your first job experience
- Not have participated in the FirstJob programme before
- Never worked at FirstRand Group previously
- Have a clear criminal record and not be blacklisted
- Be fluent in English
- Be willing to complete both the learnership training and work experience
