Duties and Responsibilities for the Afrimat Internship Programme
Include but not limited to:
- Report writing
- Perform daily checks and complete checklists
- Conduct Toolbox talks
- Update Notice boards
- Meet prescribed deadlines
- Filing
- Perform Inductions
- Conduct inspections
- Assist with investigations
Requirements for Afrimat Internships Programme:
- Grade 12
- Health and Safety Qualification (Preferably Mining SAMTRAC)
- Knowledge of Mine Health and Safety Act 29 of 1996 legislation
- Driver’s license & own vehicle will be an advantage
- Reside in the Cape Town
Skills and attributes for the Afrimat Internships Programme include:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to work accurately, paying attention to detail
- Adaptable to change
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Be able to take initiative and work unsupervised at times
- Able to travel to different sites in Cape Town
