About the Coca-Cola Procurement Internship 2025

The Coca-Cola Procurement Internship Programme 2025 is designed to provide young graduates with valuable practical training and professional development within the Finance and Procurement divisions of CCBSA. Over the course of 12 months, the successful candidate will gain comprehensive knowledge of procurement processes, vendor sourcing, contract management, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).

Key Responsibilities of the Procurement Intern

As a Procurement Intern at Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa, your main duties will include:

  • Handling query resolution related to procurement processes
  • Supporting procurement administration for:
    • Request for Quotation (RFQ)
    • Request for Proposal (RFP)
    • Request for Information (RFI)
  • Assisting with preferential vendor sourcing, including:
    • B-BBEE (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment)
    • 51% Black-Owned and 30% Black Woman-Owned vendors
    • EME (Exempted Micro Enterprises) and QSE (Qualifying Small Enterprises)
  • Supporting the contract administration process via:
    • Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform
    • Submitting contract pricing data for input into ERP systems (SAP/D365)
    • Managing vendor and pricing queries
    • Updating the Transporter Database with new routes, vendor details, and approved rates
    • Collaborating with departments such as distribution, exports, imports, and supply chain planning
    • Tracking and updating vendor application statuses for upcoming RFQ, RFP, and RFI cycles
    • Summarizing notes from Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) sessions
    • Logging air and sea freight requests into the appropriate tracking systems

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the Coca-Cola Internship Programme 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

  • A completed Degree or National Diploma in one of the following fields:
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Procurement
    • Commerce
    • Finance
    • Or a related field
