DIRECTORATE: Emergency Medical Services

SALARY: Monthly Stipend of R 5 000.00 per month. 

DURATION OF CONTRACT: 12 months

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Driver’s license (added benefit).
  • Current and valid registration with HPCSA as (BAA/ ILS/ ECT/ECA).
  • Candidates will be accessed with a formal written test, interview.
  • Valid RSA ID document

DUTIES: Ensure compliance with all policies and standard operating procedures of the department of Health and Gauteng

EMS. Ensure attendance to all dispatched emergency calls timeously. Ensure adherence to EMS and HPCSA procedures.

Attend to emergency incidents, coordinate and treat patients and other emergencies within the operational area. Undertake any other duties as allocated by management. Maintain a high standard of customer etiquette and communication medium with customers or clients. Undertake any other duties as allocated by management and ensure the station is compliant to EMS Regulation. Attend training identified by the employer.
