Requirements :
- Grade 12 or equivalent Certificate. Relevant qualification in Food Service Aid will be an added advantage. A minimum of 0-2 years’ experience in Food Service Department. Basic literacy and basic numeracy skills. Ability to perform routine tasks, Ability to operate kitchen equipment. Good verbal and written communication skills, Good interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure. Sound Interpersonal relations.
Duties :
- Perform routine tasks in the Food Service unit and operate machinery and Food service equipment. Perform all tasks related to operation, cooking and serving of food to staff and visitors during meetings, exams etc. Perform cleaning tasks to ensure hygiene and safety standards are maintained in the kitchen (washing of dishes pots, floors, pans, crockery, cutlery, tablecloths, utensils, shelves and fridges). Taking out dustbins and waste and cleaning/sanitizing of dustbins. Control of food production in the stores and kitchen. Ordering of supplies, control of storage and issuing thereof. Do all general work allocated by the supervisor.
