Department of transport KwaZulu-Natal invites young unemployed individuals who meet all the necessary criteria to for Administrative clerk vacancies.

Salary: R16 936,08 per month.

Minimum Requirements 

  • A Senior Certificate/National Certificate (Vocational) NQF Level 4.

He/she must have an interest in development, be professional, accurate, believe in confidentiality. punctuality. courteousness and tact. Helshe must also be responsible, self-motivated, reliable, honest, loyal, trustworthy, diplomatic and have integrity.

Key performance areas:

  • Draft, type and compile correspondence including submissions/gazette notices with regards to the establishment/relocation of Registering authorities as well as renewal of existing agreements between agents and the Department.
  • Deal with queries from agents as well as members of public with regards to functions performed by agents on behalf of the Department, in terms of the agreement.
  • Timeous and accurate arrangements of meetings in respect of devolution matters and taking minutes.
  • Keep devolution files/records updated in terms of legislative and contractual obligations.
  • Updating of database for the Agents performing Registering Authority, Driving Licence Testing Centre and Vehicle Testing Station functions on behalf of the Department and accurately monitor expiry dates thereof to ensure timeous renewal of agreements

  • Certified copies of qualifications, driver’s licence (where applicable).
  • Copies of acting appointment letters for occupying acting positions (where applicable).
  • Identity Document/Permanent Resident
    Permit for non-RSA Citizens (where applicable).
  • Relevant registration with professional body (where applicable).
  • Certificates are required, however, if a certificate is only to be issued at the graduation in the future, the statement of results, together with a letter from the educational institution indicating the date of the graduation will be accepted.
