Position Overview

Join our team as a Chief Administrative Clerk on a 12-month contract and contribute to our Stakeholder Management Directorate. We are looking for dedicated individuals with strong administrative skills to support our operations effectively.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: A Grade 12 qualification or equivalent NQF level 4.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in an administrative role.

  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in MS Office and administrative software.
  • Planning and Organization: Ability to manage tasks efficiently.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Interpersonal Relations: Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Flexibility and Teamwork: Ability to adapt and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Legislative Knowledge: Understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and provide general clerical support services.
  • Oversee supply chain and personnel administration clerical support services within the sub-directorate.
  • Manage financial administration support services.
  • Supervise human resources and administrative staff.
  • Compile quarterly, medium, and annual reports for the sub-directorate.
  • Offer comprehensive administrative support for the sub-directorate.
