The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has made it quite easy for applicants of the R350 Special Covid-19 Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant to track their application by providing them with their application status online.
How To Check Your Status Online
- Go to the SASSA SRD grant website
- Scroll down to ‘Application status’
- Click on ‘Click here to check online’
- Fill in the required fields
- You should then be able to see the status of your R350 grant application
This way applicants can check to see if they have been approved for the grant or whether they do not qualify or should lodge an appeal if they feel like their application has been denied for a reason that they believe is not fair
