The company is running a 36 month Boilermaking Engineering Learnership Programme starting in October which will lead to artisanship.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
- To provide an opportunity for successful candidates to participate in an Boilermaking engineering learnership programme to attain artisanship by means of trade testing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Completed N2 or NCV4 certificate in Boilermaking.
- Subjects at N2 level: Mathematics, Engineering Science, Structural Steel drawing, Engineering Drawing.
- Must have a basic understanding of the applicable trade.
- Medically fit for both plants (BMR and PMR)
TRAINING PROGRAMME / DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Thirty-six (36) months learnership with a set training programme under the auspices of the Mining Qualification Authority (SETA).
- The learnership will also provide the incumbent with a sound understanding on how to safely fabricate, maintain and repair structural steel systems and equipment within a plant.
