JMPD Training Programme 2025 – Entry Requirements

To qualify for the JMPD Metro Police training in 2025, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Possess a valid Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
  • Reside within the Johannesburg Metropolitan area – original proof of residence is required
  • Must have a valid South African driver’s license (minimum Code B) – no learner’s licenses accepted
  • Be between the ages of 18 and 35 years
  • Must be physically and mentally fit – a comprehensive medical certificate must accompany the application
