Role Purpose

During the one-year internship programme, the successful incumbent will support the Human Capital team with various learning and change initiatives. The role involves providing strong administrative support to optimize efficiency and service delivery of the Group Finance and Risk Human Capital function. If you are someone who has a passion for helping others grow and develop, enjoys administrative tasks, and has a good eye for detail, then this may be the opportunity for you! 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) majoring in Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development or Industrial and Organisational Psychology. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Relevant vacation work experience would be advantageous 

Responsibilities

Duties will include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Providing administrative and logistical support to successful delivery of various learning and development initiatives and projects 
  • Assisting with co-ordination and administration of youth bursary programme (welcome and onboarding of students, vacation work arrangements, documentation and record-keeping) 
  • Administration and capturing on various systems; administering and collating feedback from learning interventions and events for review and reporting purposes 
  • Quality assuring and maintaining accurate and updated documentation required for skills development reporting and audits Assisting with compilation of reports 
  • Contributing towards operational excellence, continuous improvement and innovation to ensure optimal learning experiences and a positive learning culture among employees 
  • Administering logistical arrangements for human capital related events 
  • Providing administrative support on organisational development initiatives and projects 
  • Assisting with ad-hoc duties as assigned
