Premier invites unemployed graduates who have the necessary qualifications to apply for the food technology Internships programme
- During our programme we expose our graduates to real work, taking place in our manufacturing environments as well, supporting critical projects interdependent on all food science and quality assurance aspects of manufacturing.
- Our graduates are provided with relevant training and mentoring, providing both formal and informal guidance. We offer a range of exciting career opportunities for graduates in our Product Research and Development environment.
- During this time, you will work in our CIP Department, providing support to the Product Development and Projects Team, while at the same time, picking up soft skills such as facilitation, time management and teamwork.
Qualification Requirements
Entry:
- Grade 12
- Bachelor of Science (BSc): In Food Science and Technology
Responsibilities
- Accurate record keeping of your workplace exposure and experience in your logbook, to ensure compliance with Seta and your learning institution reporting
- Willing to learn on how to translate your theoretical learning into practice
- Perform all tasks communicated and required

- Good understanding of Occupational Health and Safety standards
- An understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices
- Have basic skills in SOPs and Recipes

N.B
There is no experience required. Graduates at Premier gain valuable in-service work experience, skills and knowledge that will assist them in starting their careers within the food technology field.
