The Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSiRA) with its head office in Eco Park – Centurion is the statutory body regulating the private security industry in South Africa. PSiRA is looking for dynamic experienced and suitably qualified professionals to take up these challenging positions. It is the intention of the Authority to promote representative through the filling of these positions.

  1. YES PROGRAMME STIPEND: NQF 6 stipend R 5 000; NQF 7 stipend R 6 000, NQF 8 Stipend R 7000 (Duration: 12 Months) Gauteng: OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY Requirements: National Diploma/Degree in Safety Management / Occupational Health and Safety / Environmental Science.
  2. YES PROGRAMME STIPEND: NQF 6 stipend R 5 000; NQF 7 stipend R 6 000, NQF 8 Stipend R 7000 (Duration: 12 Months) Gauteng:PERFORMANCE MONITORING AND EVALUATION Requirements: National Diploma/Degree in Public Management or Public Administration.
  3. YES PROGRAMME STIPEND: NQF 6 stipend R 5 000; NQF 7 stipend R 6 000, NQF 8 Stipend R 7000 (Duration: 12 Months) Gauteng: CUSTOMER RELATIONS MANAGEMENT Requirements: National Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or Business Management/Office Management or Office Administration

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree/ National Diploma in Office management (or Business Administration), coupled with 2-3 years? experience in office environment
  • Certificate in project management will be an added advantage
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft package)
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and applicable knowledge and experience on the Job may be considered during the selection process. Essential criteria: Ideal candidate should possess in-depth and demonstrable knowledge and competence in office administration and management function and principles, as well as developing and implementing policies, procedures, processes, systems, and improvements
  • In-depth and demonstrable knowledge and competence in secretarial function and principles, as well as developing and implementing related policies, procedures, procedures, systems, and improvements. In-depth and demonstrable knowledge and competence in business management and administration function and principles, as well as developing and implementing policies, procedures, processes, systems, and improvements
  • Knowledge or understanding or exposure to protocols and protocol management. Key Performance Areas: Perform secretarial and administrative duties to the Provincial Manager
  • Filing of documents and update of registers
  • Answer and respond to telephone enquiries and referring them to relevant departments and screening of the Provincial Manager?s calls and note messages
  • Record correspondence received and sent on the mail register
  • Record and send inspection reports to debtors Administrators
  • Typing of letter, memos, faxes, monthly operational reports, minutes, agendas and general correspondences
  • Arrange conference rooms for meetings and workshops
  • Taking minutes during meetings
  • Compile packs and reports for Provincial Manager
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support within the branch for all general enquiries
  • Arrange refreshments for visitors and functions when necessary.
