Basic SASSA requirements:

  • You must be a citizen of South Africa
  • Applicants must be no younger than 18 and no older than 35
  • You must be in possession of a valid Matric certificate
  • Applicants must possess a legal ID document
  • You must have a diploma or degree in your field of application where applicable

  • If they have taken a higher degree previously, they need to study at a recognized and reputable institution in South Africa

The learnership program lasts for one year and the successful appointed candidates would have to sign a contract. They will get a monthly stipend whose value ranges, depending on the candidates’ qualification and educational background.
