About the VW Internship Programme
Individuals in the purchasing field are given an opportunity to further their careers within the VW Internship Programme or environment. The candidates will be given on-the-job training which will contribute to personal development. Successful candidates with excellent communication skills and leadership potential will be placed into a permanent Buyer position within the Purchasing division.
Education and Experience
- Degree in Polymer-/ Chemical engineering
- B Com Hon/ B Tech degree in Purchasing, Logistics, Commerce, Finance or Business Management
- 2 – 3 years’ purchasing experience
Skills, Attributes & Other requirements
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Must have proven analytical skills
- Self confidence
- Good negotiator
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to work independently
- Organise, co-ordinate and plan
- Ability to communicate at all levels
