• Grade 12 Certificate or Undergraduate Degree / National Diploma in Human Resource Management or related qualifications. 0-2 years’ experience in human resource management field. Computer literacy and Understanding of the PERSAL system. Understanding and the ability to interpret Regulations and Legislative frameworks related to Personnel and Administration. Good verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management, communication skills, and application of Batho-pele principles. Self-motivated and goal orientated. Analytical and solution orientated. Ability to effectively communicate to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.

Duties :

  • Recruitment and Selection (Advertising of posts, Shortlisting, Interviews, Appointments, Transfers, verification of qualifications, conducting vetting of newly appointed staff, secretariat functions at interviews). Deal with administrative aspects as required in Human Resource Management unit. Document management. Give support to line managers at Gauteng College of Nursing and Institutions. Implement conditions of services such as leave, housing, medical, injury on duty, long service recognition, overtime, relocation, pension, allowances and PILIR. Terminations of services. Capturing of PMDS documents into Persal System Attend to Human Resource Administration unit queries. Ensure that HRM policies and procedures are adhered to.
